Every credit card comes with a list of “perks.” Some are more eye-catching than others but nonetheless a perk. One of my favorite perks of American Express credit cards are ‘Amex offers.’
If you’re not familiar with Amex Offers, it’s a program where your American Express credit cards are targeted for various savings and bonus offers. In many cases, these offers can save you big money. I mean…would you pay $100/year to save $500?
HOW DO I SEE MY ‘AMEX OFFERS?’
To view your Amex Offers, login to your Amex account and scroll to the bottom of your account summary page where you’ll see a list of eligible offers for that specific card. It should look like this…
The offers vary from person to person and can come in different forms. For example, one individual may be offered points for spending a certain amount of money (e.g. spend $100, get 1000 points), while another individual may be offered a credit for spending the same amount of money (e.g. spend $100, get $10 back)
NEW AMEX OFFER
Currently, there’s a new targeted Amex Offer for $10 back when you spend $30 or more at DoorDash and this offer can be used twice.
I would recommend that you read through the offer terms so you’re aware of how to utilize this offer.
Ideally, you would find this this offer on a card that receives bonus points for dining (including takeout and delivery) like the American Express Gold Card [READ MORE] that earns 4X Membership Rewards Points.
FINAL STAMP
Anyone that has this offer on their American Express card is eligible for a $10 statement credit whenever they spend $30+ on DoorDash and can earn the statement credit up to 2 times. In other words you save a total of $20, however, you have to link the Amex offer to a specific Amex card before you can take full advantage.
A lot of us are having food delivered, so you may as well save money if you’re going to order food anyway.
