If you’ve been dreaming for a change of scenery, taking your office on the road, or simply relaxing during a nice staycation, Kimpton Hotels have just announced their a cyber sale and it’s a solid deal. Let’s take a look at the details…

We’ve seen several hotels brands initiate sales prior to “Black Friday” and “Cyber Monday.”
Well, you can add Kimpton to the list as the hotel brand just announced a cyber sale. You can save 25% when you:
- Book before 7 December 2020 and;
- Stay between 25 November 2020 – 7 September 2021
If you’re not familiar with Kimpton Hotel, it is a boutique hotel brand that is owned by the Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG) so, in short, properties can be found on the IHG website.
Currently, the brand operates 78 hotels in 48 international cities (68 of which are in North America) and have announced additional hotels in several cities including: Indianapolis, Los Angeles, Barcelona, Grenada, Bali, Tokyo, and Hong Kong.
Kimpton is marketed as the upscale and trendy arm of IHG and in my experience it definitely offers a more refined experience.
Although, I have stayed in several Kimptons, I’ve only reviewed one location, so here is MY EXPERIENCE from last year.
Again, the offer terms are as follows:
- Stay from 25 November 2020 – 7 September 2021
- Book from 23 November 2020 – 7 December 2020
- Must book at least three days in advance
- Cancel any time up to three days prior to arrival with no penalty
- Rates, Minimum Length of Stay and days of the week vary by hotel
IS THIS A GOOD DEAL?
Again, Kimptons are a step up from your cookie-cutter hotel. I’ve found there is an attached premium, but there is a lot to be said for a hotel that pays attention to the details and doesn’t feel like you’re staying in another hotel.
For example, Kimpton perks often include a “Raid the Bar” credit, a nightly hosted evening wine hour, yoga mat in every room, complimentary bikes, etc.
In my simple search, I was able to find several Kimpton Hotels in large metropolitan cities (e.g. Chicago, Washington D.C., Denver, Los Angeles) for less than $100/night.
