Anyway, every credit card comes with a list of “perks.” Some are more eye-catching than others but nonetheless a perk. One of my favorite perks of American Express credit cards are ‘Amex offers.’
If you’re not familiar with Amex Offers, it’s a program where your American Express credit cards are targeted for various savings and bonus offers. In many cases, these offers can save you big money. I mean…would you pay $100/year to save $500?
HOW DO I SEE MY ‘AMEX OFFERS?’
To view your Amex Offers, login to your Amex account and scroll to the bottom of your account summary page where you’ll see a list of eligible offers for that specific card. It should look like this…
The offers vary from person to person and can come in different forms. For example, one individual may be offered points for spending a certain amount of money, while another individual may be offered a credit for spending the same amount of money.
NEW AMEX OFFER
Currently, there’s a new targeted Amex Offer for $55 back when you spend 3 times on your cell phone bill.
It appears this offer may be targeted at Amex Business cards since it, literally, says that in the terms.
As always, I would recommend that you read through the offer terms so you’re aware of how to utilize this offer.
FINAL STAMP
If you are planning to pay a cell phone bill, you may want to take a look at your Amex offers because this is simply free money.
Ideally you will want to add this offer to the card that has the most valuable currency. For most people that is going to be the Blue Business card (2x). But if you see it on another card, like the Hilton Honors American Express Business Card [READ MORE], definitely apply it.
