THE DETAILS
JetBlue is having a sale today (and tomorrow) for flights departing tomorrow. You can book these fares for $30.30 (one-way) or 1,600 points + $5.60.
JetBlue is a transfer partner of AMEX (READ MORE), Chase, or Citi at a 1:1 ratio. The points transfer instantly so you shouldn’t experience any delay.
I would also recommend that you use a card like the Chase Sapphire Reserve or Chase Sapphire Preferred so you earn 3 or 2 points per dollar spent and get free travel/medical insurance, trip/luggage delay protection, etc.

FINAL STAMP
Be aware that these cheap rates are only for flights on October 31st. Therefore, you can fly from ATL to JFK or JFK to LAX in the morning and fly back in the evening for just $60.60 round-trip. However, if you stay overnight or book a one-way ticket, the cost of the return flight could negate the initial savings. Good luck!
