Last year, Will Smith (@willsmith) suddenly appeared on social media and has been setting it ablaze ever since.
On Sunday, the actor announced on Instagram that the mansion featured on the “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” would be made available for rent on Airbnb.
Beginning 29 September 2020, Los Angeles County residents will be given the opportunity to book a stay at the home.
The five available dates are:
- Friday, October 2
- Monday, October 5
- Thursday, October 8
- Sunday, October 11
- Wednesday, October 14
Each night will only cost $30 in honor of the show’s 30th anniversary.
The stay will incorporate many aspects from the show including a bedroom decorated with graffiti and basketball net, servings of Philly Cheesesteak, and turntables so you can spin on the wheels on steel.
Just so we don’t get our hopes too high, this mansion was only used for the exterior shots while the show was actually filmed in a studio set. So during each one-night stay, guests (available for up to 2) will have “access” to the wing of the house, as well as a poolside lounge area and a dining room but don’t expect it to look exactly the same as it did on the show.
Obviously, you won’t be locked in one bedroom the whole time so here’s how Smith described it:
It’s your crib for the night, so feel free to act like you own the place. My wing of the mansion includes my bedroom (great for naps), a full bathroom (great for spitting bars in the shower), pool area (great for dips), an outdoor lounge, and the dining room (great for eating obviously). And you gotta do it like my guy DJ Jazzy Jeff so don’t forget your sunglasses!

WIll Smith always does it big! This is a great opportunity to live out your childhood fantasy of staying at the Bel-Air Mansion. But you’ll have to be fast on 29th September at 11AM Pacific (which is 2PM Eastern). I trust a lot of people are interested in this opportunity to snap up a wing at the mansion for only $30.
