
The five-star Four Seasons New York hotel is rolling out the red carpet for coronavirus-weary health care workers.
The swanky hotel announced they’ll be offering free rooms for medical workers during the current COVID-19 pandemic. The hotel is closed to the public through April 15, 2020 currently, however decided to offer their rooms for those who are helping fight the pandemic as a way to due their part.
Doctors, nurses and other medical personnel working lengthy shifts during the ongoing pandemic can soon recover in the posh E. 57th St. lap of luxury — free of charge in one of its 350 rooms, according to owner Ty Warner.
The hotel website has the following message:
The health and safety of our guests and employees is our top priority. Out of an abundance of caution related to the evolving COVID-19 situation, Four Seasons Hotel New York will temporarily close on Friday, March 20, 2020 and will not be taking new reservations until April 15, 2020. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding during this time. We have all seen the grim news coming out of NYC. They deserve it. Period!
This is a great initiative by the Four Seasons New York, and I hope other hotels that are currently closed consider doing the same.
As a healthcare worker, this is very touching to see People’s appreciation and generosity.
