A Personal Note Of Thanks

I think it’s fair to say that 2020 has been a doozy.

As an avid traveler, the year has definitely not been what I expected. In fact, despite knowing COVID-19 was on the radar (no pun intended) in February, I was still making travel reservations for the summer, thinking “psshh…c’mon…all flights will still be cancelled 6 months from now!? No way!”

Well, it’s obvious what happened to my theory.

But on this day of thanks, saying “I’m thankful for my family and their good health” feels…different, as this year has (understandably) placed it more into perspective and I trust many of you share the same thoughts.

But beyond that I want to say “I’m thankful for you!” Yes…YOU!

I sincerely enjoy the notes, the questions, the DMs, the comments, and even sharing articles that you found interesting and thought I may want to write about. This blog has become a daily routine for me, but one that I look forward to sharing with you everyday.

And your support means the a lot!!

I know that I’m not the only one that is thankful for you but I want to be the first to say that I feel so fortunate to having the ability to click-click-click at my computer everyday and you find the material interesting and continue to share with friends and family.

With that being said…

FINAL STAMP

Stay safe out there y’all!

  2. @J.O. And there’s soooo much I haven’t covered (yet). I trust when we return to normal-ish times, my posts will be even more insightful. 🥳

  3. One of the things I really appreciate about you and your writing is that you have been willing to roll with all the crazy within the travel world the past 10 months. You deal with it as is, explain it well to us, and offer a variety of options. I don’t know we’ll ever go back to January 2020 but I’m reassured knowing you’ll help us navigate what’s next. Thanks!
